The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translator, and Senior Hindi Translator recruitment for 2024. Interested candidates can apply online from August 2, 2024, to August 25, 2024. Please read the SSC JHT 2024 notification for details on eligibility, post information, selection procedure, pay scale, and other relevant information.

Application Fee

 

  • General / OBC: ₹100/-
  • SC / ST / PH / Female: ₹0/- (Nil)

Pay the examination fee through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or E-Challan mode at State Bank of India.

Exam Conducted By

 

  • Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the examination for all regions including CR, NR, MPR, and other regions.

Age Limit as on January 1, 2024

 

  • Maximum Age: 30 Years

Age relaxation as per SSC JHT 2024 recruitment rules.

Code A: Junior Translator in CSOLS

 

  • Eligibility:
    • Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as compulsory subjects
    • OR Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level
    • Recognized Diploma Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 2 years of experience

Code B: Junior Translator in Railways

 

  • Eligibility:
    • Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as compulsory subjects
    • OR Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level
    • Recognized Diploma Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 2 years of experience

Code C: Junior Translator in Armed Forces

 

  • Eligibility:
    • Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as compulsory subjects
    • OR Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level
    • Recognized Diploma Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 2 years of experience

Code D: Junior Translator / JHT in Subordinate Offices

 

  • Eligibility:
    • Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as compulsory subjects
    • OR Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level
    • Recognized Diploma Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 2 years of experience

Code E: Senior Hindi Translator in Various Departments

 

  • Eligibility:
    • Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as compulsory subjects
    • OR Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level
    • Recognized Diploma Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 3 years of experience

How to Fill SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Online Form 2024

 

  1. Complete SSC One-Time Registration (OTR):
    • Register on the new SSC website ssc.gov.in if you haven’t already. You must complete this registration to apply for any SSC recruitment.
  2. Apply Online:
    • The SSC Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, and Senior Hindi Translator Examination 2024 application period is from August 2, 2024, to August 25, 2024.
  3. Upload Live Photo:
    • SSC now requires a live photo to be uploaded via webcam or the MySSC App. Ensure the photo is taken with a straight view and a light/white background.
  4. Read the Notification:
    • Review the SSC JHT 2024 notification carefully before filling out the application form.
  5. Collect and Check Documents:
    • Gather all required documents, including eligibility proof, ID proof, address details, and basic information.
  6. Prepare Scanned Documents:
